Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 15, 2026

incomum.net is a platform where business owners find out which people they have in common with the members they choose to connect with, and ask each other for introductions. This policy explains which data we handle, why, and what control you have over it. Questions and requests: contato@incomum.net.

1. Data we handle

2. How your address book gets here

Only you bring your address book, using one of these options: the contacts file exported from your phone (.vcf), the phone's contact picker, the iPhone Shortcut or your Google account. You can also add contacts by hand.

3. Data from your Google account

When you choose "Import from Google", we ask Google for read-only access to your contacts (the contacts.readonly permission) and read, a single time, each contact's name, phone numbers, emails, company and job title. We do not read your email, calendar, files or any other Google data.

The use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app by incomum.net will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

4. What we use your data for

5. What other members see

A member connected to you sees only that you both have a contact in common, under the name they themselves saved, and the introduction requests exchanged between you. Your phone numbers, emails, notes and the contacts with no match stay with you only. Administrators manage members and invitations and do not have access to private address books.

6. Security

Phone numbers, emails and notes are stored encrypted. To find matches, the platform compares codes derived from these data (one-way hashes), not the data itself. All traffic uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS).

7. Retention and deletion

8. Your rights

Under the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD), you may request confirmation of processing, access, correction, deletion and information about data sharing, and withdraw your consent. Write to contato@incomum.net. You can also remove incomum.net's access in your Google account at any time, at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

9. Changes

When this policy changes, the date at the top is updated. Significant changes are announced in the dashboard.
